Joel turns 10!

Joel turned 10 this year in August. He had his buddies over to have a day down at the pond. Fishing, frog hunting and swimming. It was a fun afternoon!

Aunt Karen and Gracie came to help at Joel's birthday party. Aunt KK wowed all those boys by jumping off our high dock. We put some pictures on to show her jumping. Unfortunately, they didn't get in the right order when I put them on this blog, so you'll have to use your imagination when you are imagining her jumping. SHe did great!

First day of school

Everyone had their first day of school on different days this year. The 4 big kids started one day, the kindergarteners (Maggie and Malorie) started on another, and Abbigayle is open enrolling in another school district so she can start school this year and she started on a different day.

Christian's first communion

Christian is in 6th grade. He had his first communion. Life goes way too fast. I'm going to hate to see him leave home in 6 years. He is such a kind and caring kid!

Pictures with the VandeLunes

After the wedding, we spent an afternoon with Great Grandma VandeLune. The kids got their pictures taken in front of her house, with Great Grandma, and with Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Marcia. It was a very nice afternoon!

Scott and Rachel's wedding

We always love when Bret and Katie come to visit with the boys. Cooper, Carson, and Cutler came to play with the kids and we had a great time!
